Claudometer Support

Most things you might need help with are below. If none of them solve your problem, email maxszolcek@gmail.com — replies usually within a few days.

My widget stopped updating

iOS limits how often widgets refresh. Claudometer requests a reload roughly every 15–30 minutes when iOS allows it. Tap the small refresh button on the medium or large widget to force an immediate reload.

If the refresh button doesn’t help: open the app, pull to refresh, then remove and re-add the widget. iOS sometimes caches a stale snapshot until the widget is re-added.

“Session expired” or 401 errors

Your Claude.ai session key has been invalidated. This typically happens when you signed out of Claude.ai in your browser, when Claude.ai rotated your session, or when you changed your password.

Open Claudometer’s Settings, tap Sign out, then sign back in. The app will grab a fresh session key.

“Couldn’t reach Claude.ai”

My usage looks wrong

Claudometer shows what Claude.ai’s own API reports for your account. If the numbers in the app disagree with what you see on claude.ai itself, that’s a server-side delay; refreshing usually resolves it within a minute or two.

The lock-screen accessory shows the wrong metric

The lock-screen accessory shows your “primary” metric. Open the Claudometer app → Settings → Primary metric to choose which one.

Where is my session key stored?

Only in the iOS or macOS Keychain on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere except to claude.ai, and never synchronised to iCloud. See the privacy policy.

I want to delete everything

Delete the app. Local caches, preferences, and the session-key Keychain entry are removed at uninstall.
